Information Architecture requires research about the user. Understanding their needs and goals is an important first step. When it comes to designing a user experience I borrow from Jesse James Garrett's Elements of User Experience.
Process
- Evaluate the user needs and create the project objective
- Define requirements and create the functional specification
- Create the structural orginaztion of the information space
