OM Meditation Timer is a simple and elegant timer application for your Windows Phone 7 device. I have found that too many of the timer application that exist don’t take in to account that a user might be using it to time their mediations. That type usage is different since you don’t really want an alarm and you also want it to be as distraction free as possible.
What’s new with version 2.1
2.0 added Mango support and fixed the issues with the chime not working under the lock screen.
New features:
- added multi-language support has been added for French and Spanish. More languages coming soon. Oh, and if you see a bad translation please let me know since I’m not a native speaker of those languages.
- History! Now you can track your meditations and add notes about each one to help you track your progress.
- Sound Pad, is an extra that lets you play any of the notification sounds all in one place
Note: I tried to make this application as easy to use as possible. There are currently some limitation with Windows Phone 7 that prevent me from giving you, the user easy access to turning on Airplane mode. To make sure that your session isn’t interrupted, I recommended that you enable airplane mode from the Settings of your device. Just be sure to turn airplane mode off when you are done.
Don’t have a Windows Phone 7 device yet? I recommend any of these:
